Does anyone like 100% chocolate?

Now you've got me slobbering!

Oh yesssss!!

didnt know it existed, i like 90% but only with a hot cup of tea and not too much at a time, 100% must get you high?

Definitely not, the 100% is so dry, it stayed in my cupboard for a year without me ever stealing any.

Could be a too bitter for my liking, don't mind the 80-90% dark chocolate, especially Aldi's.

I can happily eat 85%, and I can tolerate 90%, but even 98% is too much for me. I've once or twice tried 100% and found it inedible.

You could always serve it with double cream.

I find most things taste better that way... Mushrooms... Strawberries... Asparagus... :wacky:

That's my favourite 100% choc. Definately an acquired taste though.

Just returned to the UK for our 2 week holidays and have been steadily eating my way through these 100% - Hotel Choc. :)

They actually do 3 types of 100% chocolates.

Saint Lucia
Dominican Republic
Coastal Ecuador (pictured above)

If you go instore they offer you taster pieces - if no one claims this 'free' chocolate I'll happily receive it :)

They are expensive - so you really want to try before you buy.

Aldi's choc (mentioned above - branded 'Moser Roth') - is also nice - I think the one I tried was 70% - I believe they do a higher cocoa content bar - 85%?

We have a Hotel Chocolat in Exeter - I'll check it out next time I'm there.
