Yes Paul I was. Seems some are looking for ways to trip others up and end up tripping them selves! Seems certain posters didn't bother to read my struggles with Metformin long before I had even heard of the ND.
diadeb said:Hi swimmer2, would you please put your recipes for Almond Porridge and Aubergine Lasagne in the Low Carb Recipes section, thanks x
swimmer2 said:Well, both of them are stolen recipes really, but here's how they are done.
Aubergine Lasagne
I don't have a recipe for this,
catza said:Sid, I had no problem checking Jo's posts and finding that she started to low carb at the same time as I did around the 6th March and started her ND the last week in April so she was low carbing for probably 6/7 weeks. loads of time to get rid of any carb cravings when you are as determined as she is. I don't post much but I do read the forum avidly and I am having problems understanding why you post so many negative comments to anyone who openly follows the LCHF regime.

Defren/Joanna is a true inspiration in more ways than one

Prior to you going on the Newcastle diet you were having trouble eating and put this down to the Metformin. I can tell you now that I was worried about you as you were not eating enough to keep a child healthy. I did p.m. someone that you admire to see if they could talk to you because what could have happened if you had carried on was that your body could have cannibalised muscle and organ tissue as it would have been running on empty.
The Newcastle adaptation that you did contained more calories than you had been eating and was a healthier alternative than what you had been doing
This is not a criticism but you need to know that lots of people were reading your progress prior to thew ND adaptation and wondering where it was all going to end. People were concerned about you.
