Had my 6 month check up with my Diabetic Consultant today and since Nov'17, I've managed to reduce my HBA1C from 74 to 51. Really pleased as had a diabetes burnout for about 8 months last year but am finally back on the wagon. Managed to lose 9kg too

That's wonderful news! Well done You, keep up the great work.

Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it. It's great that we can all support each other on this forum and it helps you get through the difficult times x

I think that support is the linchpin in our efforts to improve our markers. To go it alone would be too hard for me. It genuinely makes me smile to hear of members who are so happy that their hard work has paid off.

Well done! I have experienced diabetes burnout too, which makes our successes all the sweeter.

Love your doggo, what breed is he/she?

Thanks Jenny15. Yes, he is a King Charles Cavalier called Teddy. He is my baby so is spoiled rotten. Love him to bits!

Well done. The puppy really is cute. Is it a baby King Charles Cavalier?
Thanks for your support You guessed the correct breed but he is 11 and a half now with a few health issues. Still, he will always be a baby to me. His name is Teddy and he is great company. Follows me every where x

Great HbA1c and weight reductions @LindiePops - well done! :)
The results must be motivation to stay on the wagon.
Thanks. Yes its good motivation. Never thought I'd ever get diabetic burnout but guess it can happen to us all. Just glad I've been able to turn things around this time x

I’m new st this game, I pat all of you on the back for sticking at it.
I hope I can do the same. With the support on this site I feel I can ask questions and get great support.
