Downton time

seems and I only just learnt this today, that there was no .. 1931 or 1942 taken (war)
So if my facts are correct . After the 1939 , the next set of online data will be released for 1951 ..
But 1939 first .. See what your great greats are up,to .. There were a lot of upstairs and downstairs you know relationships !

I *think* that there was a 1931 census but all the data was lost in a warehouse fire. The 1939 census was a brief snapshot, with limited information, and was mainly done to gather the necessary information to produce ration cards for everyone. People who moved after the census was taken were warned to send forwarding details to the authorities or starve..... :eek:

None of which alters the fact that we need to #hangbates :D :D

You are right about the 1931 census .. No 1941 because of the war ..

Then I saw #hangbates ..:shifty::stop::arghh:

Then I thought I would do your family history tree for you .. And your just a #char !!!!!!!! :cat:
So #downton three more weeks to go lol xxx:joyful:

My father started researching our family on his side some years ago, when he became a grandparent. The main thing he managed to discover was a shepherd from Yorkshire, in Seventeen something, who got six months for punching a gentleman :eek: We've been fighting the Class War ever since. :D

My mum's family is vair posh, and includes the second wife of Sir Charles Hallé (of Orchestra fame) and a distant link to Borwick's Baking Powder. Mind you, they're Trade, so not really out of the top drawer :D

I am so excited ..

And I have heard a bit of gossip .. It's about Mrs patmore and Mrs Hughes .. Well, I think Carson needs to learn a lesson !!!
Now where do I keep my hat and gloves ..
It's awful having no maid .. Since Nicola has a birthday , she has been granted a whole weekend off ..:shifty:

I've heard that the production company have shot some exterior scenes at Wormwood Scrubs and that one of the sets at their studios is a very convincing mock-up of an execution chamber..... #hangbates :):):)

Well, poor Mary and lucky Edith. Happy Robert and sad Thomas, knackered Carson and triumphant Mrs Hughes, congratulations Moseley and unlucky Mrs Patmore, goodbye Grannie and hello puppy. What an episode, can't wait till next weeks one. What is going on with Mrs Patmore and her lodgings?.......

It was so good , Carson was so exhausted in the kitchen so funny ..
I am concerned for Mrs patmore ...what is going on , is it her guests .. Not sure yet ..
The puppy was indeed lovely ..
And grannie well the hard nut to crack lol has just gone off on her holidays .. She was so sweet on graham Norton show .. Really humble person .. And she said she has the box set of Downton but has never watched it .... !
Of course lady Mary and Tom .. !!! Not the chauffeur lol lol
Can't wait untill next week .. I did not want it to end last night .. It was sooo good X
