Dr Michael Eades

He diverges form his area of expertise too much for me to be a fan, but I do agree with many of this Tweets.

Looks like he started out as a Civil Engineer, followed up with an MD, training as a General Surgeon and then long practise as what I think we in the UK call GP.
 
I'm a big fan of anyone from an engineering background, they are concentrated on the how problems arise, and why they do, rather than the easiest way to treat each particular problem. Stop the problem rather than treat the outcome.
