Before being diagnosed with T1 when my bg levels were sky high, I used to have vivid dreams that I could remember after I woke up. Now that I have my bg levels under control, I no longer have these dreams, well I probably do, but they're not so dramatic that I remember them. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

People that can't listen to other people's opinions.
People that can't say sorry.
I only get bad dreams and nightmares as hypo warnings at nights nowadays

How strange. You get them as hypo warnings, but I got them when I was hyper. Just goes to show we'll all different

I do not have diabetes
I've always had weird dreams but they got more explicit and colourful when I had constant hypos.
I have some great stories from them, and a lot about walking and walking.
I love walking but not this type of relentless walking.

Since blood glucose levels within normal range, I've been having a lot less!

So, I know I'm weird, but having weird dreams is normal(ish) when having hypos.

when I was young, I was terrified of Dr Who

1 night when I was hypo a Cyber man was in my room, I was frozen stiff untill my mam sorted me out, if I,m hypo in the night the dreams are unreal to say it best, but at the time seem so real. I have tried to jump out my bedroom window 3 times with some of them lol, but the night time hypos have stopped thank God.

oh yes, exactly the same. some of my dreams involved people I knew and actually came true later. I was so tired during the pre-diagnosis period and sleeping more than half the day on Sundays. Also started having strange visions during the day time as well. It has almost stopped now, but did have an interesting dream on Friday night.

i find the opposite when I am hypo overnight. No dreams, nothing. When i wake up it's like I've spent the night passed out.
