Ive recently started taking insulin 10 units once a day, do I need to inform DVLA and car insurance. Thanks.
Hi @Garyg 2 In addition I would also like to add the importance of keeping copies of every bit of correspondence, including the forms you fill in. I was very grateful for this advice from 1988 onwards.Ive recently started taking insulin 10 units once a day, do I need to inform DVLA and car insurance. Thanks.
I told my insurance company I had diabetes (no insulin at the time) and they put my premium up around 10%!
Doubt it... they shouldn't as its discriminationI told my insurance company I had diabetes (no insulin at the time) and they put my premium up around 10%!

I know mine didn't change as I got the quote without telling them.... then told them and there was no change
But you are in the USA?@searley are you doubting what I am saying? I can assure you that when I called to inform my insurance company that I was diabetic (no meds) they out my premium up by £28, around 10%.
