I am type 11 diagnosed three months ago. I seemed to be doing well with my diet and exercise and lost the weight I needed to. Now everything seems to have hit me and I have suddenly become very tearful in the mornings and everything seems so hard. Anyone else feel like this. I get better as the day goes on but its a horrible feeling. Have been taking trimethoprim for an infection but don't know if that has anything to do with it. Just want to feel better.

I had the same problem, ironicaly after I got my Hb down to 34. It took me 6 weeks to get the depression under control and to start getting myself on track. Im not too sure if the medication has anything to do with it or not and I guess you really wont know until it is all finished. It can be an emotional roller coaster ride especially in the first year and there is a wealth of imformation on the site so have a good look around.
