- Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
Today I saw a section of the DCUK website with info about embarrassing conditions that people may have along with diabetes. So I thought I would post about it in case some of you aren't aware that these things can happen and they can be related to diabetes. The conditions the site lists are:

I've had some of these and I found it useful to know that diabetes may have played a part in them, and that gives me hope that managing my diabetes better should reduce my chances of having major issues with these in the future... hopefully
- Constipation
- Diarrhoea
- Erectile dysfunction
- Female sexual dysfunction
- Neurogenic bladder
- Nocturia
- Retrograde ejaculation
- Thrush
- Urinary incontinence
- Urinary tract infections
