Whilst I have no problem with the joke, it isn't strictly PC is it? It can't be if we are mentioning specific groups of people - Brazilian orphans and English footballers. It has to be wrong to joke about orphans and not all the England squad are sad losers...some of them haven't played yet. I'm not sure we should be joking about anything on this forum, it's bound to offend someone. Some people don't have a sense of humour, but then, some people don't have sense either.
Yes of course, and I don't have a problem with any of these type of jokes, but some do have a problem with them. They are usually the ones who shout the loudest and I personally am sick of the shouting, so hence my reply. I'm not sure a 'jokes' part of the forum is a good idea any more because when the joke goes sour good people get hurt.Surely if you put it in the jokes thread then you know it has to be about someone, as long as it is within bounds of decency or forum rules.
As such, an Englishman, Irish and a Scotsman........
