I was diagnosed Type 2 just over a ago. Prior to the diagnosis and ever since I have been suffering the most prolific sweating-mainly head and neck (not sweaty palms etc) and it is literally driving me mad. Have told several of the GPs in my group practice and also DN - none of whom seem to take a blind bit of notice. All I want to know is "is this quite normal with T2" and what is causing it and can they not do an anything to relieve this most uncomfortable and embarrassing problem. It may be nothing to do with Diabetes but surely there must be a medic somewhere, or a known test to discover the cause and give me some relief. Any other sufferer as bad as this please help if you have found an answer to the problem.
