Perhaps all the beans? I used to love making Mexican style black beans with garlic, cumin and chipotle and eat a tin of those with a fried egg and an avocado. But despite being high protein they also come with quite a carb load and my body would break that down into glucose really fast. My blood glucose would absolutely soar!FBG – 6.5 (the boiled rice?)

On the home run .. one side of the garden left to do .. the easiest bit left to last .. no fiddly bits with thorny bushes that I have to get behind .. almost looking forward to it (almost! LOL). Thank <<insert expletive of deity of choice here>> for audiobooks!Thank you, you’re doing great too, is that fence & shed finished yet?
Wow, 3 stone weight loss, that’s massive well done, surely you don’t want to lose any more weight, great your FBG’s are back in the 5’s tooOn the home run .. one side of the garden left to do .. the easiest bit left to last .. no fiddly bits with thorny bushes that I have to get behind .. almost looking forward to it (almost! Statins are flushed out of the body and things starting to get back to normal I think. Weighed myself again for the first time in a while recently, I'm now 13 stone 11. Began at 16 stone 10 last September. A bit shocked. Explains the drop in impact on the punchbag, but also explains the increased speed and crazy stamina.
Not looking to lose much more weight. maybe 3 or 4 pounds more. I think that 13 and a half stone will be a good weight for me now at my age. In my early to mid 30s I was 15 st 7 lbs, crazy athletic, great sprinter, able to do back flips and lark around like Jackie Chan in the dojo. But probably carrying way too much muscle for long term heart and joint health. In my early/mid 20s I was 13 st, much better for long term health. I've grown a bit since then so 13 and a half stone I think will do me good in the later stages of life especially with some extra muscle. I don't go hungry and I don't feel tired, I'm still able to do plenty of reps with the 20kg bells, as long as that doesn't change I'll stay on my current calories and protein intake. If I start feeling weaker or fatigued I'll increase my food intake and put more weight on. Let's see how it goes... nearing the stable point where I can maintain easily and get some metabolic flexibility too now though I think.Wow, 3 stone weight loss, that’s massive well done, surely you don’t want to lose any more weight, great your FBG’s are back in the 5’s too
Pleased to say we don’t have any fences to paint, have to trim the hedges though (not me personally)
Got to work at 7.30 this morning to go on peleton before work, still practicing one legged stuff
Enjoy the rest of your day
