Great to here your levels are nice & low.
You stick with us. Your journey can helpful to many.
I think the NHS instead of giving the gobbledegock they do, should signpost newbies to this site or the main site & they can join us from there if they wish, but after reading the main site they sure will join us. Most of the NHS Dr's & Dn's know about the site so why not just send them to it.
Hi, I was told yesterday by my GP "right your blood test shows you are diabetic, do you have access to the Internet?, just go to Diabetes Uk you will get all the information you need from there. Oh and on the way out book in with the Nurse for Diabetes Clinic next week!! Bye ... " so that was my information - Ha ha - from my Doctor..... What. Wonderful introduction to my new diagnosis. Fortunately I had joined this site earlier last year because a blood test had shown I was 'borderline' and felt more info would be available from all of the regular posters here. So at the moment I do not know to what degree my diagnosis is going to change my life.
