No reason not to!I hope so.. I'm now just wondering if I could just make up a stock gravy with the herbs and garlic in?? That may also be a way to aid the digestion when eating hot meals...
So sorry you are suffering donnellydogs,my thoughts are with you x
donnellydogs,I do hope things have improved for you this morning x
Thanks for your post hankjam, it does help. I think there is a link between LCHF and fewer bowel movements, well in my case at least. My GP thinks psyllium helps a lot. I love prunes but these days avoid them because of the carb content.@CatLadyNZ and @donnellysdogs
Soon after I went LCHF I went through a pretty long period of really days between dumps and when they arrived they took for ever and had to dumped gently... I tried everything suggested on forums and really nothing was a magic cure.. loads of water, prunes, flax... nothing
Now taking pysllium capsules and things are better but have absolutely no idea if they have helped or I've just worked my way through.
Dumps are now closer together but still tend to be pretty large....
and am dredging my next birthday, an even year, when I will get my two year bowel screening kit....
Not too sure if this will be of any help as I was not as affected as yourselves and I wish you well.

@donnellysdogsI'm going to try having 10g carb of prunes tomorrow with flaxseed!! - not particularly looking forward to it.
This is cerainly the longesttime without any rise in bg's, or pain in stomach so may possibly be ok- these are the first signs.
Going to get a couple swigs of lactulose ans senna in a few minutes too. Just hope neck and now opposite shoulder will allow me to get out of bed quick enough if needed tomorrow morning...
Will look at getting pysyllium capsules too. Been taking oregano capsules since Tuesday. But only just been able to face my salads and healthy oils tonight.
Just hope something starts to work..
I hope the neck and head clear.I don't like prunes!!! Stomach has slowed down a lot!! Have come off painkillers totally but stomach hasn't returned to normal yet.
Tried the prunes but really don't like them!!
I stopped chia seeds for a few days after reading that they aren't recommended on the SIBO diet but have started including them back in again.
Am taking 2 oregano tablets a day as well but can still be 3 days before my stomach decides to empty... Used to be every day with my oil/herb dressing/flaxseed and chia..
Just don't know what else I can do besides taking the laxatives...i just don't want to do this. I prefer to find my own natural way but just struggling at the moment. Am just on diazepam x 2 a day now for the neck and head pain. No more icepacks needed. Just wondering if the diazepam could be slowing stomach down more??
Wish I like prunes and I know I got used to avocado, olives and oily fish but don't know what I can disguise them with to eat them..
