Will let you know how I get on. Will start taking this week when they arrive and then have a cooked meal on Sunday instead of salad.
I was convinced that I could no longer eat meat and veg but this may well be a way back to eating some occasionally...
I hope so.. I'm now just wondering if I could just make up a stock gravy with the herbs and garlic in?? That may also be a way to aid the digestion when eating hot meals...

I worry ahead of eating though as I know how bad I can get with the meat n veg. Worth trying though.

Well with hubby climbing Ben Nevis this weekend and being my normal non interested in cooking for 1 person... I have had rice cakes... First time for a long, long time.
So I fried up halloumi cheese and put on the rice cakes with lashings of my salad dressing and all 4 days have had good stomach results. Have varied the toppings but all have had the oil dressing on with my normal herbs..
I think there has to be something in this because I had to stop ricecakes by themselves with butter as the still slowed down my digestive tract...

Suprisingly good and given me a bit more confidence to try the hot meal next weekend with ultra small portion size to start off with.

Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
Just an update... and thanks everyone for your info and support. Things have slowly improved over the last 5 days with the movicol/macrogol on board. I'm eating as much veges as I can but not producing very much in terms of bowel movements... I think my LCHF diet is the cause. I'm not going to change what I eat as I think it's brilliant for my BGs and weight loss, but I just make the observation that when most of what you eat is fat and protein, and your overall food intake isn't very much, then there isn't much to come out the other end, lol.

Well I've gone all
T*ts up this week.....

Had 3 biopsies and 11 samples taken in 9 days... And in addition.. Somewhow done something awful to neck... Head does not move anywhere at all not sideways, not up or down either. Pain is absolutely excruciating. Due to not being able to take standard sortif prescription painkillers, or gabapentins etc have been given diazepam, naproxen and omeprazole.Despite oregano tablets (arrived Tuesday) and flax seed nothing has moved thru stomach since Monday. Am petrified now.... Only had salads two days with oils as the pain from head/neck is also in jaw and stopping me eating anything much as difficult opening mouth.

Hoping my little food is not going to build up into another major solid mass inside but I am dreading it now.

Thanks.. A case of waiting!!-lol.

Diazepam may help with being happy whilst in difficulties. Can laugh instead of screaming! They don't actually help the pain with neck but make my brain not care!!

Get results week Monday. The lump will be removed but I think the test results are needed to see how they will remove it.

Afraid not!!!

Neck horrendous last night. Slept with ice pack all night but hubby had to help me with pain at 5.30 this morn. Still no movement!! But strangely no pain yet either.

Got picked up though to go to a fantastic time at a breast unit open day at our local hospital. Sadly although all women over 50 get scanned, and men get breast cancer too, the attendance was poor from the public. They had all the consultants attending out of their own time, all the radiologists, oncologists, nurses etc but so very poorly attended it really made me want to cry. The consultants are truly passionate about their work. We are one of the 1st hospitals in UK to have 3d screening and breast rebuilds all under one roof etc but support from the public was so disappointing.

So, now I.m on prunes as well and going to start Senna liquid tonight in hope that I'm not too late. I just wish my neck would improve but up it hasn't.

Can't moan as there is no stomach pain yet and levels haven't started to rise, so I am still hopeful that something may move again.

Haven't go had a peak at 3rd biopsy hole get but its not painful so will peel off dressing when I go to bed.

I have never met such wonderful consultants and radiologists as I have met today. The staff, the knowledge and the passion they had was truly fantastic.

For me... Still a waiting game...lol (not).

Soon after I went LCHF I went through a pretty long period of really days between dumps and when they arrived they took for ever and had to dumped gently... I tried everything suggested on forums and really nothing was a magic cure.. loads of water, prunes, flax... nothing
Now taking pysllium capsules and things are better but have absolutely no idea if they have helped or I've just worked my way through.
Dumps are now closer together but still tend to be pretty large....
and am dredging my next birthday, an even year, when I will get my two year bowel screening kit....
Not too sure if this will be of any help as I was not as affected as yourselves and I wish you well.

Thanks for your post hankjam, it does help. I think there is a link between LCHF and fewer bowel movements, well in my case at least. My GP thinks psyllium helps a lot. I love prunes but these days avoid them because of the carb content.

I'm going to try having 10g carb of prunes tomorrow with flaxseed!! - not particularly looking forward to it.

This is cerainly the longesttime without any rise in bg's, or pain in stomach so may possibly be ok- these are the first signs.

Going to get a couple swigs of lactulose ans senna in a few minutes too. Just hope neck and now opposite shoulder will allow me to get out of bed quick enough if needed tomorrow morning...

Will look at getting pysyllium capsules too. Been taking oregano capsules since Tuesday. But only just been able to face my salads and healthy oils tonight.

Just hope something starts to work..

Two weeks on from cutting sweetcorn from the diet and self administering additional supplements (one tab of oil of oregano a day and continuing to eat Flax seed) and the bloating and stuckness I was experiencing hasn't returned. Unfortunately, as I was doing two new things at once (Sweetcorn and Oil of Oregano) it could be either, but it could also be both. Either way, it seems to be a good way to continue!

Same, I love prunes but don't eat them anymore due to BG effects. A reward food for occasional treats only.

Hope you are doing better @donnellysdogs

I don't like prunes!!! Stomach has slowed down a lot!! Have come off painkillers totally but stomach hasn't returned to normal yet.

Tried the prunes but really don't like them!!

I stopped chia seeds for a few days after reading that they aren't recommended on the SIBO diet but have started including them back in again.

Am taking 2 oregano tablets a day as well but can still be 3 days before my stomach decides to empty... Used to be every day with my oil/herb dressing/flaxseed and chia..
Just don't know what else I can do besides taking the laxatives...i just don't want to do this. I prefer to find my own natural way but just struggling at the moment. Am just on diazepam x 2 a day now for the neck and head pain. No more icepacks needed. Just wondering if the diazepam could be slowing stomach down more??

Wish I like prunes and I know I got used to avocado, olives and oily fish but don't know what I can disguise them with to eat them..

I hope the neck and head clear.
Not too sure about Diazepam and blockage.
When I got my frozen shoulder I was on large amounts of cocodamol(?) and talk about being bunged up.... nothing for days and then extended sessions sitting down and being gentle... it's not much fun......
