I'm sure there's more.
For a bit of context, look at what is happening to the polio vaccine programme in Nigeria. Conspiracy theories about vaccination programmes are becoming rife in the Third World in particular and pose one of the most serious threats to health globally. I'm no expert on flu vaccine -- but I think this anti-immunization mindset is knee-jerk and dangerous.I'm fine with that .... the paranoid guy who never has flu jabs and only caught flu once.
Do a little online research and see how your lining the pockets of billionaires for something that is very questionable.
To be honest thinking about it some more ... the bull **** machine has everyone else paranoid and rushing toward the syringes while I on the other hand ... sip my scotch and ice thankyou ....
Billion of dollars was not the aim of Jonas Salk and Thomas Francis ( they developed the first vaccine against flu viruses ) also a few years later Jonas Salk developed the polio vaccine. If you do a little research you'll find there is no evidence whatsoever that flu jabs have any benefits at all.
If a different strain of flu arrives and it usually does ... the one you had is meaningless ... totally meaningless.
The chances of you getting the same flu as the jab you just had are very slim.
Most doctors wont have the jabs because of this and because of mercury and aluminium in the vials along with other toxins.
We've got this far ... thousands of years and were still here.
We are damaging everything in sight with our technology.
The environment is at crisis point according to many leading scientists.
We are the environment ... the environment isn't something you can visit.
I'm no expert so don't let me put you off having this stuff if it gives you some peace of mind but at least do a little research regarding what you are letting the state inject you with.
The biggest beneficiaries of course are ... big pharma and the share holders.
Who is paying them ten billion dollars for these questionable vaccines?
The tax payers of course.
Ahhh different ball game.
I had a small business that bought me into contact with some grim stuff ... tetanus diptheria blah blah.
If I decide to go off to the 3rd world world any time soon I will go for whatever injections recommended.
But that's very different to mass injection programes of populations.
Your immunising against very real and known threats which you will be coming into contact with.
You're moving asbestos ... wear a mask etc ... I'm all for protection.
But what are you protecting against this year regarding flu and what are you offering to protect the people with exactly seeing as it is mostly guess work the twenty billion quid s changing hands for ........
But now I've read this, I'm also going to check I have had the pneumonia vaccine when I go in this year.
The good news is once you get it that's it for life unless you have certain medical conditions, they say people who are at a heightened risk of developing a pneumococcal infection should receive the jab, this includes people with diabetes.
I got mine around 5 years ago.
I was told its given every 11 years
Zand I'm no doctor or specialist.@JACKTHELAD I follow all your arguments and wish I feel I could manage without the jab too. My experience has been that I have had so many chest infections which I have not been given antibiotics for that I am worn out with it all. I can't face being ill like that anymore. I do what I can to boost my immune system, but I have a real fear of having a chest/throat infection now. One year I had 7 lasting 3+ weeks each. I was exhausted and so was my body. All that inflammation did me no good at all, so I accept the flu jab albeit with trepidation.
That would depend on whether you have other medical conditions, just had a look John and WebMD says the following:
Pneumococcal Vaccine Schedule
How it is given: By injection.
How often/when to get it: One-time vaccination for healthy adults. Re-vaccination after five years is recommended for people with chronic kidney failure or other conditions that lower resistance to infection and for people over 65 who received the first vaccination before age 65.

It might well be your HCP's want you to have it every 11 years due to your diabetes, mine just said that's it for life unless there's any other medical issues.
I wasn't criticising you at all Jack. I'm envious because I would like refuse them too. I also wasn't saying I feel that having a flu jab is the right thing to do. I felt so helpless when I got ill with chest infections and pneumonia and have wasted too much of my life laid low with them, I can't bear the thought of being ill like that again.isisis

You should always do what you think is best for peace of mind.
My peace of mind is to not have the flu jab.
I have only had flu once in my life and that was when Tony Blair and George Bush were lying us into war with scare stories about biological weapons reaching us within the hour etc etc ... I was lying in my soaking bed hardly able to breath or stand thinking ... Saddams got me!!!!
Anyway .... one point of view is never enough ... especially when it comes to governments as far as I'm concerned.
I am offering up the opposite point of view hopefully backed by science.
My intention isn't to scare though that may well happen.
