We make lovely smoothies with bananas, blueberries, orange, apple, kiwi fruit, raspberries, mango, melon, yogurt, coconut milk etc with spinach, turmeric and cinammon and they generally come in between 14 to 27 carbs... I have one a day and no problems in smoothie form.
I cant handle much fruit or spinach etc unless its in a smoothie due to other problems but I am also sure that the fat from the yogurt and coconut milk reduces spikes that normal fruit may give.
Its a case of suck n see. I cant handle melon at all with the spikes but in a smoothie fine.
