I saw this on an old thread:

increase my levels of HDL .....by increasing beans, pulses, lentils and seeds.

is this correct information? I mean, beans pulses and lentils are higher in carbs than i would cope with, and I cant eat seeds or nuts. Are there other foods to increase my HDL?

Mine went to circa 2.5 when I increased Kippers and Salmon.

I expect it has more to do with what someone does not eat, along with losing excess body fat and building muscles.
