Selfish people, arseholes who think they know it all, ignoramuses, chavs and people with no manners. People who play music on the bus or train full blast on their phones.
Who's you're local team?

Who do you support?

Who do you dislike?

Why to questions 2 and 3?

(1) Wolves
(2) Wolves
(3) West Brom/millwall/man utd/chelsea/portsmouth
(4) I'm loyal/WBA for obvious reasons/they're dirty/they have supporters whi've never been to a match.

Even if you're not a fan you can answer who your nearest club is to your borthplace. Wonder how many teams we can get and interested to see the spread.

People not interested, this is just a general bit of fun as I've been to quite a few grounds around the uk.

Over to you :)

I expect a lot of people won't bother, but it'd be fun to share memories :)

Mart.

Anyone localish, please gizza "Hi".

Any fellow wulfrunians out there?

Mart.

Nearest club to my birthplace would be Crystal Palace. I'm not a great football fan but I've got a soft spot for Chelsea. I used to work for Autoglass many years ago who were Chelsea sponsors so got a few free tickets. Good job they were free, I remember paying about £3.50 for a god awful burger about 17 years ago !

But I can tell you the first memory I have of a football game which was in the middle of December at the beginning of the sixties.
My father and cousin took me to watch a "Third Lanark" (Glasgow) game against, well, who knows?
I was too frozen to care. I remember on the way back home in the car my cousin said, don't worry it will soon heat up. Took about 15 minutes for the candle flame of a heater to even start showing any signs of heat, and I still couldn't shift the icicles from my by then swollen red bulbous nose.

I'll never ever forget it, and I never went to another game. I think that must be why my father disowned me.

Not what you wanted to read but....still, it's a small contribution to your thread that no doubt will prove rather popular.

Willie. :D

Ooops, ps,
I tell a lie, I did go to another match. I was in Oxford with a pal of mine later on in the sixties,
I was obviously a bit older by then and sadly, rather tipsy. We had a good sing-song though.

Best wishes for your thread.

CELTIC, Brainwashed from childhood,

Not really a football person, however being a Scotsman in England it has got to be Manchester United, thanks to Sir Alex.

I know, TYPICAL

Berwick Rangers

Newcastle United (its where I grew up before moving to the Borders)

Sunderland (well its tradition for Toon fans to dislike Mackems but its all in friendly banter for most of us)

I grew up in Newcastle and went to as many NUFC matches as I could. Sunderland is classed as a local derby and there has always been rivalry amongst supporters of both clubs. Sadly, some take it to the extreme but to most of us we treat it as friendly banter.

I was born in the general hospital and lived in Heaton for a few years before moving over the water to Gateshead then to Lobley hill. Moved up to the Borders with a lass I knew from there, didn't work out but it was too much bother moving back. Also moved mum up here after getting troubled from the local druggies.

Its nice and quiet up here now, apart from the sound of sheep, took me a while to get used to not hearing police cars/helecopters all hours of the night and morning LOL.

life long Chelsea fan, although stopped going to the matches when I got married 15 or so years ago when mortgages and kids came along and money got tighter, I am from Battersea so just a short walk over Battersea bridge, I was born on Fulham road, st stephens a spit away from the ground...... I watched all the ridiculous violence at the games through the 70`s as a kid and onwards and never did or would have been involved, so im at wolves and ive had 2 pints and I get arrested on the way in and put in a police cell for the game (6-0 if I remember) and I got banned for a year?????????????? lol had to report to Battersea police station every Saturday at 3pm

dislikes : everyone that dislikes us

Man United. Looking forward to the start of the season today
