Freestyle Libre 2 sensors always failing now

My skin reacts to stick on dressings/plasters, someone suggested I try a spray on dressing before sticking the Libre disc on. I can’t stick an Elastoplast over it as my skin will react to that‍ A physio once tapped up my foot to treat plantar fascitis, NIGHTMARE, allergic reaction and took nearly 2 wks to go. So problematic ‍♀️
One forum members has purchased an elastic strap with a 3d printer holder for their Libre which keeps their sensor in place without need for additional plaster when swimming.
However, there are hypoallergenic options such as Tegaderm.
With regards to sprays before applying the sensor, I would recommend skin barriers rather than spray on dressings. I have used both SkinTac (not a spray but a wipe) and Cavillon,
Although the glue used on Libre is not the same as that used on plastersand dressings.

Hi. I've had very few problems of any kind with my Libre 2. I do take care to insert the sensor of the side of the arm where there is flesh. I cross the arm across my body to see where the fleshy area is before inserting. I've never ever had a problem with lying on the sensor and that may be because I choose a fleshy area?

I have been using the freestyle libre continuously for over 5 years now and the Libre 2 for the past couple years. There has been some that aren’t very accurate but most have been fine, and hardly any have failed midway through the 2 weeks.

However, for the past few months I have had sensor after sensor problems, whether it’s completely inaccurate readings, it having an error and having to be replaced, it hurting like hell and keeping me awake at night for days until I have to change it and the worst was I have had two blood spurting incidences when putting one on which I’ve not had happen ever before. Luckily the first time I was in the bathroom because it was like a horror movie. I haven’t actually had a sensor that hasn’t caused me problems for months now.

Has anyone else been experiencing poor performance with their libre? I’m getting so fed up with them I’ve just stopped wearing them.

Update:
Anyone suggesting I speak to my diabetes team - I have tried and their phone line doesn’t work and no one cares, oh well no libre 3 for me
Happy New Year. I have been experiencing the exact same issue and have started to keep a spreadsheet with the serial number of the sensor and notes on the type of failure. Each time I have complained to Abbott they have sent me replacements and the last time they sent two, one of which was faulty. Most often I get loss of communication which would indicate the NFC chip (Near Field Communication) is at fault. This is the same technology which allows Apple Pay to work so I would know if it was my phone's chip. I imagine Abbott have perhaps switched suppliers to save money and the users are left to suffer the consequences.
