Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
So far I've always been ultra cautious with my Libre sensors, covering them with Kinesiology tape to prevent them being knocked or snagged and dislodged.

However T1s I have talked to in the past don't seem to bother, and just wear the white buttons.

We do have the occasional "one post wonder" who signs up to post a tirade against Abbott because a sensor has got knocked off against a door frame, but the general response seems to be that most people haven't had problems.

So, do you use something to protect the sensor?

No, I don't, I am only 6 weeks in ,but don't feel the need to cover it.

I don't, but then they stick to me like superglue - admittedly with the new sticky stuff they're now using it is actually slightly easier to remove after 2 weeks now, though still a bit of a challenge - but I do know that some have had problems keeping them stuck on (as in I have seen many posts asking how to keep them stuck on)

No for me as well, I haven't had much of an issue with mine, I think it's to do with my skin type which is quite dry so my bf really needs to pull on it to get it off.

I've lost a couple in the past. I use Tegaderm/Hypafix on them. Mainly because with a patch over it I don't even have to think about being carefull with my sensor when close to doorposts/prying cats/after a wet day of sailing and trying to get rid of my sailing gear :)

I've dislodged two sensors by catching them, so use kinesiology tape.

I use a clear waterproof dressing cover over mine. I’m not sure how required it is, but I do feel safer knowing it’s covered and protected.

Cover for the full fortnight as I do swim training regularly for an hour at a time. Have found it easier to keep covered with Opsite. Doesn’t look great but couldn’t care less.

I have tried a Captain's arm band as extra protection towards the end of the two weeks when the Kinesiology tape is starting to peel off, but that makes my arm itchy, as does the tape.

I suppose I could use the Kinesiology tape and replace it after a week - I leave the backing on where the sensor is so the tape doesn't stick to the sensor, so I can take it off easily.

At the moment I am wearing it "commando" but I am feeling slightly nervous because it is a significant amount of money if I damage it.

Well, that didn't last long.
I could feel the sensor brushing against bits of my clothing (trousers) as I was working on a laptop and decided safety first.
All taped up again.
