Worth it I think.Really frustrating. I need to stock up to try to prevent this, would feel at such a loss without it.

I read that too on the FB group. I wondered if it's because at the time I said I had an iPhone, so no NFCApparently Abbott have a phone app in the offing and people are being asked to participate in a test period. I don't have an invite tot the survey yet, but they are coming out.
Just realised how stupid my question was given that you don't need to touch the sensor when using Dexcom. Duh. Thanks for clarifying!Dexcom transmitter on the G5 uses Bluetooth. Abbott can't make an iPhone app because Apple haven't made the NFC SDK available.
They are selling (I have been using them for a year) but they are not taking on new customers, as demand is too high.As of today, when I get to the checkout, it says:
Due to high demand for our product, we are currently unable to accept orders from new customers.
Please leave your email address so we can add you to the waiting list and contact you as soon as product becomes available.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your interest in the FreeStyle Libre system.
I get this from two different computers (work and home) and it is the same before and after I delete all cookies, history, etc.
I do not think they are selling yet.
Regards
With every sensor I test against it for a few days and when I am confident that it is "in range", I finger prick a lot less. Basically from day 2.5-10ish I tend to reduce finger pricking.Does anyone else find they get a bit lazy with finger-pricking with the Libre? Just realised I didn't finger prick all weekend. Was confident this sensor was working accurately on the first few days but probably not wise for me to trust it quite as much as I do!
My latest order has been "on hold" for a week now.
Anyone know what's going on? Do I need to call Abbott or is this a general issue at their end?
The box shows that the sensors are made in the UK (address next to the factory logo). Still hope that they can ramp up production though. So, I'm looking at jobs on Abbotts website, and there's a "sensor manaufacture shift leader" going in Oxford. Looks like they're ramping up production in the UK!
Yup the job advert specifically states ramping up productionThe box shows that the sensors are made in the UK (address next to the factory logo). Still hope that they can ramp up production though.
