the freestyle libre reader
is said to store 90 days of
info.
what happens after that?
do you need a new reader
and does it tell you its full
that it has the 90 days ?

As I remember (and I last used it 3 years ago) you can download and save readings to your laptop if you wish, thereby keeping full records....

Hi,

It would store the info then start "overwriting" as new data cones in.
No need to buy a new reader handset after 90 days use..

It essentially behaves just like a normal meter, and will begin to overwrite the earliest readings when it reaches its memory/storage capacity. Data can be uploaded to Libre software on your PC.

Just a thought - to clarify:
The Reader behaves in the way we've already posted.posted, but the main working part of the Libre system is the small
sensor that attaches to you arm (or other area of the body) and this IS definitely time limited, collecting data over a fortnight, after which time it must be replaced. In addition the sensor only holds its recorded data for the current 8 hours after which it's deleted, so it must be scanned into the Reader - at any frequency you choose - within this current 8 hour period.
