I don't know much about those medications mate but if I've remembered correctly when I was on Codydramol years ago I did have some constipation but I'm not 100% sure TBH if it was that exact drug I was on as it was so long ago.
Sending a man hug to ya!
So take a couple drink extra water and if you get constipation then stop. Or as suggested go see a chiro Brian saw one a few times and he was excellentEvery person is different and you are in Total Warrior not tough mudder l kept "muddying the water" with my original confusion
cheers matei dont want constipation, i could cope without the pain relief tbh but the doc says if you dont take them you move less and it gets worse, but! i really dont want constipation lol
If it gets too bad you can always add some senakot. You know, like the advert says, for gentle predictable relief when you wake. (Or more likely run like hell about 3 hrs after ingestion. Should get the blood pumping through the shoulder again lol
Doctor took me off naproxen as he said taking this for a long time can damage your liver..
Hello. I'm new to the group. Don't really know what to ask without sounding like I'm whining.A few months ago I started having this pain in my right shoulder under the shoulder blade. It effects the entire arm. Feels almost like pins n needles, tingling sensation down to my finger tips. Dr. says I may have pulled a muscle. (3 months no better). I donate blood every couple of months, the last 2 times they took my blood pressure it was very high (right arm). Last Friday I went in to donate and my BP on the right arm, 196/98, left arm was, 143/77. Huge difference. Haven't seen my Dr. yet and I'm expecting him to give me a pulled muscle bit again and hand me a new pill. My father had type 2 diabetes as does my older brother, my older sister lost a breast due to cancer a few years back. Maybe I should tell you a few things about myself so you can get a clearer picture.
Female, 55, (menopausal + overweight), mother of 2, grandmother of 4+. Back - Degenerative disc C3, bone bulges C3-C7, PARS L5-S1, IBS, diverticulitis, osteoarthritis (neck-shoulders), arthritis (hips + knees), migraines, not to forget the soar arm and high/low blood pressure.
My meds are, Fluoxetine 20mg (depression + OCD), Naproxen 500mg (anti-inflammatory), Domperidone 10mg (inflammation of the stomach lining), Clonazepam 2mg (anxiety), Buscopan 2mg (antispasmodic-muscle spasms (diverticulitis)), Baclofen 10mg (antispasmodic-muscle spasms spinal cord injuries), and Hydromorphone 1mg (narcotic pain reliever to treatmoderate to severe pain (works on the brain to increase the ability to tolerate pain)).
I ask doctor for answers he just hands me pills. I hunt for specialists, he refers me to them if I bug him enough. Going to Neurologist in 2 months. In the interim I wait in pain, unable to do much of anything even get a decent nights sleep.
Is there anyone out there in the cyber universe that has any answers, please.

An addition to this post - I knew I'd heard something about this, but couldn't recall exact details. Just did a search and found the following:@Wonderingwhy The difference in BP between your arms should definitely be looked into.
Serratus Posterior Superior Trigger Point. This is what I found on the site you gave me. I saw the Dr. on Monday and he's got me booked for a 24hr heart monitor. He said nothing about meds or physio. Why do Dr's like to keep you in the fog. My body tells me something, I describe it to the Dr. , he says "let's try this or that." It's like he hasn't got a clue which sends me to my medical book or the web for answers that I bring to him, he gives me one of those, "ain't that cute" looks like I'm trying to diagnose myself. Well if he doesn't know the answers I have to find them some place else. I depressing trying to find out what wrong and how to fix it. (I'm venting,Have you seen a physio? The thing that stands out to me regarding your pain/tingling symptoms is the issue you have at C7. I have neck problems including a prolapse at C6/7 & had similar symptoms due to a trapped nerve. I took medication for 12 months but also had/have physio which is massively helpful - I've been off the meds for close to year. When it starts acting up again I refer to this www.triggerpoints.net to try & pinpoint the muscle involved so I can gently self-massage & heat treat it. The site offers a 'map' of the body so you can search via your pain point but also a list of symptoms you can search through.
I hope you have some luck - I know first hand how draining it can be.
