garlic and olives

Both should be okay - I don't think pickling adds in carbs. If they come in jars, check the label.

If you're very-low-carbing, about 10 olives is enough.

Vinegar can actually help keep blood glucose levels stable even putting it on chips can make them less of a problem

Garlic is great but I'm sorry olives are disgusting and taste of dirt :? Of course thats just my opinion

Thanks Sid, I'd forgotten about the vinegar effect  . What I really meant was, check for sugar in commerical pickles. I know some home pickling recipes use sugar.

Me, I love olives - black and un-stuffed

I love olives and cornichons. they are my standby for nibbling and according to my labels are carb free. I cook with garlic a lot.
