I’m about a month into keto at about 40-50g. No trouble at all no flu etc until this week. After eating my evening meal, I’m getting a crampy sore feeling in the gastric area (central just below ribs) 30-60 mins after eating (all different meals). It takes a few hours to fade and really is quite uncomfortable. I have no gallbladder since 8 months ago but never got this either beforehand or after the op.
Is this common? If so typically how long does it take to pass?
I’m wondering if it’s some sort of reflux. Does low carb change stomach acid levels? After years of misdiagnosis and omprezole taken totally ineffectually not keen to restart it. Also not convinced reflux/gerd is due to high acid (more likely low so made worse by these meds)
If there’s no common relationship to low carb and it keeps playing up it’ll have to be the drs but want to try what i can before then.
