WOW, it seems you have had a rough time of it............

Why did you inform your diabetic team to not get in touch again?

what insulin regime are you on and do you feel it's working for you?

sorry for all the questions

g'day mate, the black dog's a handful, being told you're diabetic and having your world turned upside down is a real shock to the system. It does seem like a trip to the Dr is needed. when you feel you are able to

You are not going to feel good really are you, despite getting your bloods in control because you are effectively running away and hiding because you feel that is your only choice. Even getting your meds is effectively by subterfuge.
My thoughts are, if you can practically run away why couldn't you allow the medical persons to help you to change possibly to a different angle of your old profession. You have after all made a huge jump into hiding, Employers have to help find you jobs that you can do if diabetes rules you out of doing your old job. If they can't then there are other opportunitys around rather than just hiding T1 and effectively running away to try and start a new life elsewhere on deceiving an Employer.
I do totally sympathise although I sound harsh.
It really would be better to try and find out jobs that you can change to with being T1 and all your experience and skills, but honestly, I think you know that.
Just handling a diagnosis of diabetes is bad enough, but your consultant and gp should have offered you a period of sick, that could have enabled you to adjust both mentally and physically.
What are you doing now?

My nephew committed suicide at 21, and I myself thought of it and had it well planned at one point, but a friend guessed my thoughts...

You're not alone with the thoughts that its easier to not live, BUT life can still be good. I am sorry to hear about your wife and parents, but think honestly that you need to tell somebody (us) the trauma that you are feeling. We do not judge (well, some might actually) but we are here to support one another.

Are there countries that do not have limitations for T1 diabetics? You have language skills, are you in a place that you can work with T1?

You can carry on one way or another, things will improve...
