My n=1 experience says that is absolute cobblers.. but as I don't have many carbs (mainly from cream in coffee and milk in tea) anyway then no way I'm giving up my coffee.According to the research cited in this article:
http://www.diabetesincontrol.com/caffeine-and-carbs-dont-mix/
caffeine is a no-no for type 2 diabetics and pre-diabetics. Sometimes I feel it would be simpler just to give up eating and drinking altogether!
Coffee has never had any detectable impact on my blood sugar. I would suggest focusing on all the other things that certainly do increase blood sugar...while drinking a nice coffee.
