Gliclazide

I currently take Metformin 500mg x4 and Gliclazide 80mg x2 and Simvistatin 40mg x1 a day. My mmol has come down to between 3.5 - 7 before a meal. It wasn't high before averaging about 8-10, highest was 14 which was after a night out. I started checking my bloods every day or every other day for the last 4/5 weeks as instructed by the DN. Are these readings ok? I'm thinking of asking the DN if I can cut down from 2 to 1 Gliclazide. Are we still at risk of this virus even if our bloods are controlled?

The DN told me to test before breakfast the before tea. I'll test 2 hours after now, thanks,take care

Hi. Sounds like the Gliclazide might need reducing from 2 to 1 tablets as 3.5 mmol is too low?
