Glucose rising mystery

@Juicyj thanks for that, i'll have a look into that

As for the pump cost, my clinic said they will not fund it, despite them not funding anyones as its the GP who funds it. My GP however has said yes he will happily fund me for any form of medication I require for my diabetes, be it a pump, flash monitoring, or any other equipment. So great news there! Just need to fight a battle with my clinic when i go in June.

Re magnets, no magnets here, but plenty of HF electricity from the welders, idk if thats an issue?

I have a lot of reading up to do before making a firm choice, but i suspect there is a device that can withstand the needs of my workplace

Also, the dose adjustment for normal eating course, can this be done over a series of days/weekends or does it have to be 5 straight days?

Hi - it's best to speak to your DSN/GP as each trust structures the course differently, some are pretty flexible so you can do one day a week for say 5 weeks, others prefer to run them as a week course.

It doesn't sound as though your workplace is an issue for a pump - however the best thing to do is that if you do decide the pump is the best route, then find out what pumps your trust offers and research each one to see how compatible it is with your work, pump manufacturers have helplines so you can speak to a techie on the phone and find out more about which one would work best :)
