@liam1955 get that knee sorted, then rest.

Oh dear, I hope they can sort it out for you soon, William - I know how difficult it can be when you have a bad knee.
Hugs xx

If you can't stand in the shower, William, do you have a plastic garden chair you could take into the shower with you?

yoohoo, I'm back (I hope). Between stuff going on at home, the problems with this site and then getting a virus on my laptop, I have been 1 very unhappy camper. Haven't caught up on all the postings, so will just say hope you're all doing well or at least getting better. If there's anything important that's been going on that you need to tell me, feel free to let me know. Gossip welcome as well .
Definitely cwtches all round though xx

Good Afternoon All. Thanks for that Anna X @13lizanne - Great you are back amongst us Karen, you have been missed by us all @doolallylady X. @mo53 - Hope you feel much better today? X Sending Love and Sympathy to those families in Orlando (my pain is nothing compared to theirs).

Hi Karen - welcome back!
In the news: As Anna says, poor William has hurt his knee quite badly, although he's not sure yet exactly what the damage is. Also, Ron has been diagnosed with maculopathy, Tina is herself awaiting results from a diabetes test, Eddie has been very poorly with sinusitis (although I think he's on the mend now) and Penfold has been able to stop taking Metformin.
Hope all is well with you.
Hugs x

I've missed you all too. Gave the rainbow to match you're new avatar that I sincerely wish you had no need to use xx

Hi Debra,

Thanks for the welcome back, wow so many problems all round. Best wishes to William, Ron, Tina and Eddie. Well done Penfold, great news & great effort on your part.

Karen xx

My supplement arrived today.
Amazon's supplier has put the price up by 60p per 60 capsules.

I'm looking forward to starting it again with dinner and every meal, thereafter. I will reduce my insulin tonight, just in case.
My fbgs are back to 4s and 5s.

I don't mind 6s and low 7s for fbg if I lose weight.

I'm feeling good about my bgs lately. Shame to see specialist, who may upset the apple cart.
I just need to lose weight to help with insulin resistance but lchf doesn't do that for me.
Free swimming passes hopefully soon for 9yr old so much easier to take the financial knock to keep up with him. He loves swimming, just like his mum.

@ickihun - I just realised Vicky that I should not have posted that item on the fasting thread = poops!!!!
I decreased the Insulin by 4 units over the last week and I am only taking 42, but don't forget I am still taking 4 x 500mg of Metformin a day as well! With not doing much and not eating much I don't want my 'backside' to spread and get any bigger!!! I am working on this bloody knee and doing exercises on it as much as I can thru the day. Have took a picture today of my knee, it looks better than the last one.

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all doing as well as you can be. Don't overdo the exercise William it could make your knee worse if you do.

Joy of joys, football is on. It hasn't been on a week yet and I've had enough already.

Come on Wales.

Hello stranger, and how are you Karen? apart from the football that is. I too dislike televised football, thought I'd get off with it this time as Scotland didn't qualify but- no! hubby is cheering on our fellow Celts.
Come on Wales!!!!

Hi Anna
I'm fine thanks, you ok? How are you and hubby enjoying his retirement?

As for the football, between hubby, son & 2 football mad grandsons I haven't got a chance of avoiding it . Thank hubby for his support xx
