GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING.

Yes Debs I am not helping much that's why went to hospital as wasn't sure if was side affects or something else .so will be trying to see my gp to get the dose increased now I know don't get side affects

On a positive note, to have reduced your HbA1c from 138 to 44 in just 9 months is quite some achievement!! Well done Ron.
Thanks but wouldn't have been possible without everyone on here helping me and pointing me in the right direction and supporting me and some serious lchf dieting lost 50 kilos this year

Very happy! Great party, wasn't it?
How did you shift your pleurisy? What meds? Sorry if too nosey!

Issued no drugs and was advised to take paracetamol, I told them I had a supply of cocodomol and was told that they were better than the paras (which I knew anyways)

I was told to go back if I felt any worse but I didn't (was off last week on holiday) and the weeks rest saw me recover

It's bloody awful Ron
Sorry you picked it up fella
Even when I laughed it hurt

Hope you get shot of it soon
He's sleeping on the sofa again. Well trying to sleep anyway. He's not getting much.

I've had pleurisy too-no fun for sure. Our Christmas party went nicely but my internet carrier went off for a while. They got it resolved finally but I was beginning to think of just switching to another carrier-but it was so cold and icy I did not want to get out and bother with it. We are having very wintry weather for the last two days after a very mild autumn. I am glad I got the winter coats and hats out just in case. I am having bad allergies-my body seems to react with allergy to really cold weather. I am going to go to sleep early tonight as I did not get much sleep last night. Night all.

I just got back from my doctor's appointment-My HA1c is now in controlled range, It went from 7.5 (58) three months ago to 7.0 (53) with blood drawn a week ago. I lost two pounds and my kidney function had improved a little on all three measures. I'm happy. This doctor has not seen my winter allergy reaction and was a little alarmed. I had to reassure her that looking and sounding like death warmed over is normal for me in the winter-I have survived it 56 times so far. I come back to life in the Spring.
