Hospital gave me codeine and paracetamol without checking what time I last took co-codamol. Mind u I had been in more than 4hrs.
My co-codamol is 16mg (8mgx2) codeine and you can take 60mg codeine every 4 hrs, I think. Codeine I have is 30mg so total I'm taking is 46mg. I've only just started to take codeine and seeing gp tomorrow for swellings.

Think the dreaded lergy bug may have hit our house .
 
No just Ron , he's got flu like symptoms plus trots. When the O.T guy was here Ron's back was covered in sweat .

I have not renewed my registration this year since switching to an admin role at the hospital

I would put your mind at ease and treat you like a princess x

Tell the staff you are very nervous when you see them and tell them that a good few times so they get the message loud and clear

Get the sugar free liquid nurofen handy, childrens meds section in chemists. All other ibuprofen is sugar coated

Yeah it did . He's going to get Ron things he can use to help with dressing and such. Also bathing. Plus when we move he's going to come round and see what's needed. He also said about a rise and recline chair for him which we can get funding for . So all in all things look like there on the up for a change . Now watch something will go wrong.
 
Antibiotics are finished and no change to chest aches. Off to bed for an hour or so. Very damp air outside but breathing not too bad. Maybe having good kidneys makes all the difference!
No walking for me now til nursery xmas party at 11am tomorrow. :) I need to relax codeine relief for 8hrs.
I think I have slow digestion then not. Painkillers only working sometimes, eh?

No . Nothing will go wrong. Its bad enough its taken so long. Xxx
 
I'm waiting for painkillers to be delivered, oh and extra insulin. I've lost weight! On scales this morning. I bet I lose more on diuretic too. I've lost weight on increasing carbs, reducing protein and much less fat. Oh and stopping metformin but extra insulin.
I cannot make sense of it!
Could the painkillers reduce cortisol being produced through body weight carrying stress/pain?
If codeine helps me lose weight I'll be happy to continue it, longterm. ;)

Posting here as too late for Good Morning Thread.
Got up at 7am for the loo and tested and it was 12.6 and I was still tired and had some pain, took some Morphine and Tramadol and went back to bed. R woke me at 11.30am!! I have just tested before I have my lunch at 1.15pm and my Blood sugar is down to 9.8. :)
Hope you all have a good day and hugs sent out to anyone who is poorly today. :)
 
Morning all. What a day, couldn't get connected had trouble couple weeks now, this morning had terrible trouble had to change my password ect to get connected took hours, hopefully it's ok now. My profile said I limit who reads it! News to me. Good day to you all
 
Good afternoon everyone, I'm posting here instead of earlier on Good Morning as there are only so many times I can say "it's pitch black out there" Just enjoyed a lovely morning with one of my friends, we went for coffee at a local garden centre which resembled the Christmas shop today. Hope all are feeling OK with not too much pain

@mist sorry to hear your not feeling so good, hope you get better soon. I've had tummy cramps & pain in my rib cage for 2 days now, think it might be the half mince pie I ate othere day, no more mince pies for me :(
 
Well I'll be glad to get rid of my extended tummy on monday. Chilling today but feel like I'm being filled up with blueberry bubble gum juice like girl on willy wonka chocolate factory. I just need squeezing now. Ha ha

Day has gone by quickly. Hoping tomorrow will be the same.
