GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING.

Hello @bigjim19 - Yes, I know what you mean. If you are Stressed, Anxious, Worried or even ill and sometimes some types of medication can all cause the blood sugar to rise.

Your correct I'm stressing myself out about a few things at the minute namely I've got my blood test at the end of march and I'm trying hard to keep my averages down as the doc says I can come of the metformin if I can average 6.0 ,so that plus household matters and family things( also got the dentist on Monday 6 hoping to get a tooth pulled out )are getting a bit on top of me but it will eventually work it's self out

Hi again @bigjim19 - so you are hoping for a HBA1C of 42 or below? You could just manage that with 6.0 and below.
Are you following the LCHF Diet (Low Carb High Fat)?
My Bloods are due to be done on 5th March and I am hoping for a HBA1C of 50 - anything below and I will be happy :) and I can reduce my daily Insulin too.

Hello @Liam1955
Hopefully I can get it there I'm not doing any particular diet I'm watching the calories
But keeping the carbs in place not to high not to low but eating healthy plenty chicken ,
Steaks , salad . Etc.

The kilos are dropping slowly now that the initial shock of being diabetic but it's still
Going the right way, with the job I do you don't get 3 meals or so a day so it's hard
But I tend to keep it under control most days .

Good luck with the HBA1C we all need something to aim for I'm hoping one day I can get under 5 average it's a long shot but hey why not

Good Evening People :),
Been to see GP this afternoon for Blood results = Uric Acid Levels are "Normal", so it is not Gout!! But, he said it wasn't!
Been doing foot/ankle exercises for the last week and can now do circular motions, left to right, up and down. But around the outer Ankle Joint it is still swollen and tender. GP says he think? It's Tibial Tendonitis= possibly damaged or stretched Tendon which should right itself with strengthening exercises and to rub moisturizer in the skin with circular motions to keep skin supple.
The Naproxen was giving me Acid Reflux (felt like I had eaten fire) so that's been stopped as from today.
No more Liquid Morphine, Tramadol or Lyrica, but instead the Transdermal Butec Patches have been increased to 15mg from 10mg.
Next week got bloods to be taken to check my Liver Function, Cholesterol, HBA1C and My Iron/Ferritin stores.

Well, at least that's one diagnosis you can cross off the list. Let's hope the increased Butec patches do the trick... x

How are You today @debrasue ? Did you go out at all? And how is your Chestiness= clearing? Wx
Hello, William. Yes, I went to Tetbury for lunch with a friend today, which was lovely, but I'm still wheezing and coughing I'm afraid. I'm beginning to think I'll be like this forever! :meh:

@debrasue - Have you tried Oilabas Oil? I have a container put in 5 drops add boiling hot water, attached the tube and face mask inhale slowly and deeply.
Or you could get Hubby to massage some of the oil over the top half of your back and feel the menthol penetrate into your lungs. It may? Loosen up the nasty mucous? Wx

Well, we've had it all here this afternoon in the space of a couple of hours: rain, sleet, sunshine, hail and some wet snow.
Yuk.

But look at this - spring in a vase!
Flowers from my lovely husband, simply because he knows that the last days of a long winter make me hurty and miserable.
