No had breakfast as normal ....my BG level this morn was 9.6 had breakfast took my metformin (1000mg) and gliclazide (160mg) then a hour later took insulin (14ml)

My diabetes nurse has just rang as arranged and she's happy will levels but when I see her on Friday she's thinking of upping my insulin alittle more

Good morning from an extremely muggy Central Scotland. We haven't had thunderstorms yet but sky looks really heavy. Forcing myself out of the door for our morning walk. Hope everyone has a great day
 
Shouldn't have bothered with my shower this morning. Got so wet on my walk will have to shower again. Was really good fun walking in the warm deluge though, especially after the sticky heat we've endured recently

That sounds good to me! I'm having 3 showers a day at the moment, one before I go to bed, another one when I get up and another one when I get back from my afternoon walk :) It's my birthday on Friday, I hope it cools down by then
 
Sitting here with thunder booming overhead and lightning flashes lighting up our sitting room every few minutes. We are waiting for the storm to move on so that we can go sample the delights of Asda, neither of us like driving during a thunderstorm. Three daily showers sound great Barbara, cool water and fresh smelling gel- lovely! Like Debra I'm a fan of L'Occitane and they do a lovely lemon verbena fragrance, I'm just wittering on now in fact I'm boring myself :)

That sounds like fun! Me and A love sitting at home watching a thunderstorm, it's so refreshing afterwards!

I like the sound of that lemon verbena, citrus fragrances are my favourite too. I have to pick up my antihistamine prescription from Boots this morning so I might treat myself to some smellies while I'm there :)

Yes! That's my shower gel too. :)
I also love Molton Brown's Rhubarb & Rose, and White Sandalwood. Gorgeous....

...phone for my A1C results:)

Then I'm off to Citizen Advice Bureau, to explore volunteering with them as a debt advisor for a couple of days a week...should be interesting:)

Haven't tried that one yet although the hand wash is sitting in my cupboard waiting to be used. My current favourite is Flame Tree and Pimento [:angelic:I'm a spicy girl]

I'm still here - awaiting this thunderstorm to blow over, R and I are playing games on our tablets and have a league table going - that's how bored we are:(
 
Bali is cloudy, windy with a lot of chance for stormy evening.
A ginger cuppa tea would be my good friend today :)

Lol A and I are still waiting for our thunderstorm - he's been playing Lego Dimensions all morning (the Doctor Who world of course!)

I haven't tried that one yet... Pink Pepperpod and Black Peppercorn are quite spicy - do you like those too?
I like the floral ones, and the Silver Birch is nice and refreshing, too.

Kevin, that is totally AMAZING! I think we all knew that you would get a great result because you have been working so hard, but that is truly spectacular.
