Good Morning

Yes @eddie1968 I've got a TENS Machine, but it has no effect anymore. I have only got this week and next week on the Prednisolone and 1 week without anything and then I see the Rheumatologist on the 19th August. But, have got Tramadol and Pregabalin in stock ready to take if needed - and I probably will be taking them --soon!!
I could hook you up to the National Grid if you need a "power boost" lmao :joyful:

Morning all. Another. Ensure full day in Cambridge. Yesterday I help a mate with his garden all day...we stripped, shopped and planted up a complete front garden:) then had a massive BBQ...oh we started the day at the GC with a cooked brekkie...hence why my FBG this morning wasn't the best ever:)

Morning everyone, it's cloudy at the moment but brightening up later. Today is going to be different, it's my lovely mum's birthday on Wednesday so the whole family is going out for Sunday lunch. Mum's been to a lovely carvery out in the suburbs and they do cauliflower cheese as one of the vegetables (yum!) so we decided to go there. Even the fussy members of the family should be happy with this :)

31/7/16 - Good Morning from a Sunny York. Hope everyone is well and enjoy your day :).

I feel on top form. For once. lol
That lchf was making me miserable! Not a solution for me. Insulin was giving me high bgs and low bgs with very little inbetween. Not good for my mental health.
Lchf was suppose to prevent that for me but I couldnt get it right. I feel I've failed and the encouragement made me feel even worse. Glad to be back singing with my metformin! I hope it lasts as long as last time! Female hormones more settled too. Win/win for me, at last.
Bgs a little higher but I can work on those now I have my energy back!
I hope your weekend is panning out ok too.
I just wanted to share my good news with you!

Good morning from Central Scotland. It's a beautiful sunny day again, just off for my morning walk in the woods. Have a lovely day whatever you are doing

Good morning, peeps - happy August!
August... my goodness. I don't know about you guys, but I think it's been a pretty rubbish summer so far, and now it's two-thirds gone. The leaves on some of the trees around here are already starting to change - the horse chestnuts are always the first - and before you know it it's going to be autumn again. I love all the seasons, but I feel a bit sad about autumn coming this year for some reason, maybe because I don't feel we've had a proper summer... :(
Ah well, it's not over yet - we might still get lucky with an Indian summer! (I am an eternal optimist :))
We're forecast rain all week on and off in the West Country, it's looking pretty awful for later today but improving as the week goes on. I have No 2 granddaughter for the day today - we are going to be painting, glueing and making a collage. Maybe we'll be doing some splashing in muddy puddles later, too!

I hope everyone has a lovely day.
Big hugs to everyone, especially the poorly peeps! :nurse:
:)

Been up since 4am but feeling energetic. More washing on the garden airer and another load washing. I've watched a movie and made breakfast for everyone. We will be doing a wrecky this afternoon for a farm and indoor play near durham. Picnic too. Sunny here and no rain forecast. :-)

Morning, peeps!
Wet, cold and grey in the West Country again this morning. Chucked it down all day yesterday and it looks set to do it again today. I read a report yesterday that suggests August is going to be a washout. Oh, great. :grumpy:
I'm off to the hairdresser today - first time in about 20 years. There might be a new avatar later, if I like the results. And there'll be a deep depression heading from the West if I don't!!
Have a lovely day, peeps
Hugs to everyone x

Morning all, it's going to be dull and grey for much of today. My older brother is coming over later so we can kick the DWP's bum - details on the scream thread. Wish us luck!

Good luck Barbara! I went over and had a look at your post - that is diabolical! Reminds me of an ASD parent who left her daughter at DSS counter for 3 mins while she went to toilet. When mum came back the clerk awarded her daughter DLA there and then. Apparently daughter screamed etc for the 3 mins Mum was gone. Hope your lovely brother doesn't have to resort to these tactics! Will be thinking of you - go get 'em! @Diamum5972

Drone flying in park today!
Sunny and warm.
I'll post my fbg then I'm off out.
I post more in winter I notice.
Weather is too good to miss out on.
Have a magical day everyone!

Have you had your hairdo yet Debbie? What are you having done? Cut? Change of colour? Nothing so drastic?

Lol thanks Anna, that thought made me smile! Michael did come over earlier but he was so stressed he forgot the letter so we're going to try again after lunch. Time to get my Diabetes Avengers boots on!

Good morning from a wet, humid Central Scotland. We've had such a good summer with lots of sunshine, it's a return to normal for CS today. Ah well! waterproofs at the ready, walking in the rain is so gentling. Have a lovely day everyone
