Good Morning

Morning all, it's going to be wet and warm today - yuk! DS has got a busy day today, he's gone to his group at the DSS this morning and he has an interview this afternoon! I'm going to be waiting in for my shiny new mobile to be delivered, I've got a free upgrade :)

Good luck to A @Diamum5972 both with his group and interview. Thanks @debrasue I'm just off out in 15mins it's seldom all 5 of us manage to meet up together though we all see one another regularly in different permutations! Enjoy your time with your lovely girl too

25/8/16 - Good Morning from a very grey - looks like rain York. Hope you all have a good day and you are well today.:)

Good morning all. It is to be a bit breezy here today so I might cut back some pesky overgrown brambles on the cycle path today.

Morning all.. It's lovely here in Cambridge. I think it must have tipped it down overnight, which is lovely as the green is returning to my lawn:)

Little one has decided using the toilet fully is a good idea after all.
Our trip to York can now be nappyless. Hurray!
Just in time for nursery, says I.
I had to use the old trick "there's no more nappies left". I tried bribery no he saw through it. Clever boy!
He still moans but what a fresher bin I have. :)
At last I am a nappyfree home. :-) :-) :-)

27/8/16 - Good Morning from a Sunny and Warm York. Hope you all have an good day and Everybody is in good health. Off to meet up with @ickihun - Vicky and her Family later this morning at the Railway Museum York. Will give her that big Hug Anna @13lizanne :)

Good morning lovely people. After a wet start here in Cambridge the sun is out and just 3 weeks after planting this is the status of my lovely tree ferns. Fronds are already about a meter from Zero :)

Morning all, I'm a bit later than usual - my cat has fleas so I've had to wash all the bedding in the house. Groan!

Unfortunately this is the worst time of year for fleas - and they love this warm, wet weather...
I can highly recommend Indorex spray by Virbac. It's pretty toxic stuff (the active ingredient is Permethrin) and it carries a list of do's and dont's as long as your arm, but I've used it for years and never had a problem with fleas since (despite at one point having six cats). It really does work - against all sorts of bugs - and I found that after giving the house a really thorough first treatment, you only need to use it sparingly thereafter for it to work.
