Goodbye and thank you, Dr. Richard Bernstein

While I'm not a 'religious' follower of his approach, lots of his ideas have found their way in managing my own diabetes.
I can't thank him in person for everything he did for people with all types of diabetes.

So here's a very small obituary for a great man:

I didn't know that this wonderful doctor has died. It was after reading his book that I first understood about eating low-carbohydrate meals. I have been thankful for his wise guidance.

With deepest sympathy to Dr. Bernstein’s family. His work has been a true inspiration to me. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes six years ago, and from the very beginning, I followed his book Dr Bernstein's Diabetes Solution as my guide. Because of his dedication and life's work, I’ve been able to maintain an HbA1c of 5.0% and live with normal blood sugars. I’m forever grateful.

Thanks for posting this. Dr. Bernstein has always been a great inspiration and guide for me.
