well chaps i think i blew it again yesterday but thank goodness for my testing kit!
i had a really busy day (last one for a week which means do a week's work before you go, ready for the week's work when you get back)
i came home with yet more work to do, a husband at work (so i was in grab what you can mode) and decided on Fishfingers and veg. As that was really all i had in the house when i saw the carb content i was horrified but resigned, but i did scrape off most of the coating
anyway my pre dinner reading was about 11.8 (not bad for me at the moment)
after about 2 hours i felt really dreadful, not like me to think of jacking in the work which i had to get finished but i was knack'd and feeling terrible, headache and the like.
so i did another test and lo & behold 16.5 (one of my highest), so had a piece of cheese and felt a bit better
this morning woke with bad head and lots of peeing at just before 5 (not unusual as i am often up around then though never by choice  ) anyway am now at 12.8 which is actually best morning result i have had so far.
am off for a week's walking today, will experiement with how that affects the bloods as well. Also got my new bible yesterday (bernstein) though i had hoped it would be a bit smaller...have had a flick through and will use the week to digest it better, not sure i can go quite so low on the carbs but am avoiding eg carb food rather than carbs in things such as soup etc to see how that works. will be interesting having to eat out quite a bit
on that one i am getting a bit fed up of having half a plate of food but paying for the whole amount, seems a bit discriminatory to me for me to ask for no chips but get nothing in return, might just have to get my forceful head on this week, though the husband is doing quite a good job on that front making the food servers feel guilty by emphasising my diabetic state when asking for extra veg (and he is a pussycat normally)
look forward to catching up with you all next week and everyone remember it is a condition not an illness don't let the B****s get you down
