See........I've been banging on about Guinness and it's benefits for years. Drunk in moderation it's a cracking drink ! Little or no effect on my Bg levels after two pints on a Friday afternoon. :D

The Wisconsin team tested the health-giving properties of stout against lager by giving it to dogs who had narrowed arteries similar to those in heart disease. They found that those given the Guinness had reduced clotting activity in their blood, but not those given lager.

Well, I've been called a few things in my time, 'dog' was one of the few I can actually mention here, it is a family site after all ! ....so it seems I am in good company. Maybe that's why my heart is now so healthy ?? woof woof !! :wink:
