Halting Weight Loss

I think I'll always have the pregnant belly shape. I remember when I first watched Mrs. Doubtfire and Robin Williams is putting on his body costume and I thought with horror that's exactly what my figure looks like!!

:D I know what you mean

I had a similar experience when someone posted a picture of the torso of a naked woman on facebook - slightly saggy boobs and a saggy belly - and captioned it 'Homer Simpson!'.
I never wanted to undress anywhere near a mirror again!!

The Cinnamon Trust would be grateful for any time you could spare for a walk. They help the elderly and infirm keep their loved dogs at home by providing exercise for them. A very worthwhile charity and that way you could walk as much or little as you wanted. Worth a thought.

@copey399 - If it could be a decent compromise, there is a website which matches dog owners with dog lovers who don't want or can't have a dog of their own for whatever reason. The involvement of the non-owner can be anything from "dog sitting", holiday cover (their place or yours), walking/exercising duties, fostering when the owner has an op or whatever. It's almost like a dating site matching dogs and enthusiasts.

It would seem you can choose invlvement rergularly, periodically or whatever, and with one or more dogs.

I looked at it quite seriously, and there are some lovely dogs in my surrounding area (well, a decent radius, but acceptable to me). My lifestyle, of split location living mean dog ownership would be cruel, coupled with MrB's feelings which he expresses as, "I'm not having another dog. They go and die and break your heart." He's a big softy, as you can tell. :)
