Struggling to sleep. Waking up in night and unable to get back off to sleep as whole arm aches. 4 casts in the space of 6 days and can almost slide this one off. Plaster room opens Monday:(

I don't think I've received a genuine valentines card.......

One I'm positive was from my mum
one was a wind up from college friends pretending it was from a geeky boy.

Never had one since.......

Try using pillows under arm to elevate the plaster weight heaviness .
Hope they can help you be more comfortable tomorrow .
Sleepless nights can wear you down :(

Me too @Kat100

@Kat100 Me too - loved this post
It still makes me laugh from @killerkaz
Such A FABULOUS sense of humour .
Plus the post of how they got together is a good story and funny .
Ah well if you think thats funny after 6 months of writing to each other the first time he came to see me he pulled into my parents drive, said hello to my mum then went into the garage to introduce himself to my dad. it was a windy day and the garage door blew out of his hand banging against the fence and breaking a small pane of glass in the door, Neil is a big bloke so he starts to walk down the side of the my dads car where he has the bonnet up and the wall, apologising profusely and offering to pay for the window, he thrusts his hand out to shake knocking the can off the car wing into the engine, my dad who was bent over the engine shot up to avoid it, hit his head on the raised bonnet which made it collapse on top of him. Neil came shooting out of the garage like all the hounds of hell were after him yelling my dad was going to kill him. By this time me and mum were holding onto each other laughing, dad came into the kitchen rubbing his head asking "who'se that bloody Selwyn?" (anyone remember that programme?) The name stuck and as he was in my dads old regiment he was quickly forgiven, but he always called him selwyn.

This thread has fizzled out quickly, didn't expect that. Where's the lurve and the romance gone or are we diabetics different ? ;):)

Love, no one knows why ?
It is in a steak and gravy pie
In dogs and cats
and things that fly
alas no one knows
why (we get attached...to things) :)
A wee poem I construed in 2 minutes lol
