HbA1c continuing to improve

At July 2021, latest HbA1c has reduced to 40, was 42 in April and before that was 74 in December when diagnosed with T2D. Hoping now to maintain into the future, if the body is willing. The mind certainly is!

Many thanks for those warm words! Certainly I am relieved to find I had scope for getting the figure down, being aware that many cannot owing to being already too far down the line. The big thing, of course, is to maintain a good position and not drift back into the diabetic range. It is hard being so very skinny!

Can I ask how you’ve managed to get your HbA1c levels low?

I followed the regimen described in my profile signature- broadly lost 15kg and did lots of walking and kept carbs at moderate to low levels.
