Hba1c result

Hi everyone, just got my hba1c result from last week and has come back a respectable 6.3 and 4.2 for my cholesterol. Two years ago my a1c was 8+ so I am pleased it has come close to 6 as this is the figure I have been aiming for, but more important is that I have achieved this with far fewer hypo's, my hypo's now are very few and far between and I still get good strong hypo awareness symptom's even though I have had diabetes for nearly 30 years. Anyway, onwards and upwards and I'll get there in the end!

I too have just had my HbA1C..and managed a (fantastic for me) 6.6 (so not quite as low as you, but stillan improvement) I think I have my pump to thank for this, becasue for teh first time in my life, my BG is relatively stable. I had thought my HbA1C would go up, as my pre meal readings were a bit higher than they have been...but I am not seeingteh masive fluctuations that I was. Still work to do, but getting there.
