I was diagnosed around 6 weeks ago, I'm going back to the diabetic nurse tomorrow for LFT and UdE, had the HbA1C done previously, this is going to sound really ignorant but what does it all mean? Thanks Jane

Not sure what the first 2 are but the HBA1C is a blood test that gives an average blood glucose reading for the previous 3 months. I'm sure someone will be along to answer your question better soon ! Good luck !

UdE will be U&E which means Urea and Electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate and also a creatinine, ie a kidney test. LFT is Liver Function Test. They are pretty standard tests.
