Help for t1 kids in Ukraine

In normal situations, I can understand them saying it's got to be in date, but given the fact Ukrainians have got nothing, I'd have though they would have accepted testing strips, lancets and syringes that are only a few months out of date, unless it's to do with Insurance issues. I happily use these out of date and have found them as accurate as in date ones.

If I had nothing to test and treat diabetes with, I know I'd be grateful for anything to save my life. I know it's the organisations that make these stipulations, not those needing the help.
