Today, 7 months after my last Hba1c of 42
I have received a text from my local surgery saying my blood sugar levels show Pre-diabetes and to phone or go to a website for help. (That's not news to me, was first diabetic in 2020, managing it myself since)
So, being good and compliant I did.
First up was a risk score.
I scored 14/47
Screen says I'm eligible for a course (even though next screen says access is for 16 and above)
But, I've nothing better to do so I played along.
Next it tells me courses available in certain regions...
But not mine!
So why a text in the first place? I assume the surgery knows what area we are in, and that courses aren't available here? Or maybe I'm assuming too much?
Answers on postcard please, but only of you've got as much time to waste as I have
