Personally I'd suggest a very low carbohydrate/ketogenic diet.Help my wife has been told to loose weight however she suffers oedema. And overall bloating.feels no one is listening .what can we do please
I had oedema for years prior to diagnosis - it was steadily getting worse. I was also getting a lot bigger and had put on around 55lbs in a few years. I sorted my blood glucose out fairly quickly through a keto (around 20g carbs/day) diet and weight loss followed on - somewhere over 60lbs gone now. The oedema got much better as soon as my sugar went back to normal level - it did take about two years to go (almost) completely. Feet are nearly two sizes smaller.Help my wife has been told to loose weight however she suffers oedema. And overall bloating.feels no one is listening .what can we do please
