Possibly because he's thinking of type 1s where it's not good if they go too low...?why do you all think he wasn’t happy with 34?
I’m confused so we agreed for now I was going to reduce my 2 metformin twice a day to 1 metformin twice a day and 1 semiglutide a day. I’m really wanting to aim to be off meds altogether if that’s possible.

I'm with the others, he's got T1 in mind (If their HbA1c is relatively low, that could indicate they're encountering a lot of hypo's and yeah, that would be problematic). What he should have done was taken you off meds, and congratulated you on doing an absolutely amazing job!Hi Everyone
so as a bit of background I was diagnosed type2 in March, you were all lovely and advised me. My first result was 119, next hva1c result 47 and latest was 34.
I thought the nurse would be thrilled but he wasn’t and told me he wanted my reading to be 48?
