Thank you Kevin, I love getting out and about. I had an accident 10 years ago and badly damaged my back and shoulder. It took a long time to get back to full mobility so I don't take anything for granted!Diamum5972 ....well done. A really positive attitude to getting out and about.

I do feel better. Thank you. It stopped raining. Despite aches and sore throat took advantage of the good weather and went to a different nature reserve. Watched red squirrels, swans,greylag geese, woodpeckers, nuthatches, siskins, and the more commonly seen blackbirds, robins and bluetits.Jamrox, sorry for your loss, these things impact us powerfully. Activity tracker says I can put my feet up now.
It's been a pretty good weekend for exercise - Saturday I went for a walk into town and did my voluntary work in the evening and Sunday I walked to and from my mum's house. Both days at least 1 hour of walking. Yesterday I just walked to and from the DSS to sign on, which was half an hour. Today I'll be walking to and from mum's house again. Tomorrow's my weigh in day, I think I'll be all right
I'm an usherette at my community theatre. It reopened 3 years ago and is run mostly by volunteersWell done. This is consistency, you must be very encouraged. What's your voluntary work? Kevin

Thanks, I really enjoy my time there. It's based in the college I used to go to in the 80s and it's an amazing place. The building was built in the 30s and it still has all it's art deco fixtures and fittingsGood for you..I love hearing about how people out back into their communities, says a lot about character
